Last week, Toronto's monthly meetup of VR professionals were treated to a talk and demo of the Consumer Oculus Rift directly from the guys at Oculus.
Paul Jastrzebski and John Bartkiw from Oculus answered most of the curious questions from the VR game devs and VR filmmakers that packed Globacore's meetup room.
And the consumer headset didn't disappoint. It was sleek, sexy, and ultra light weight, designed for extra long VR sessions.
But my favorite part of the night was watching a few guys demo the Rift and wilding out, oblivious to the quiet, packed room around them.
Now that's what I call immersive.
